Join Anna Halprin and the Planetary Dance Association for the 35th Annual Planetary Dance—a call for peace among people and peace with the Earth. Create a vibrant, unified voice to help keep the world safe and healthy for all children.

Sunrise Ceremony: Greet the day atop Mt. Tamalpais. Arrive by 5:15 a.m. at the peak’s parking lot, 45 minutes from Hwy 101 Stinson Beach exit. Climb to the peak takes another 15–20 minutes. Bring cash for $8 parking fee and a flashlight.
Main Event: Gather at 11 a.m. at Santos Meadow in Mt. Tamalpais State Park. People of all ages and abilities, from children to adults, are invited to join this community ritual, declaring their commitment to a peaceful, healthy planet. “When enough people move together in a common pulse with a common purpose, an amazing force takes over—a power that can renew, inspire, teach, create and heal,” Anna Halprin explains.
Guest artists: Anna Halprin, Billy Cauley, Jahan Khalighi, Dohee Lee, James Nixon, and others.
Participation Details: The event will take place rain or shine. Please wear black or white. Layered clothing is advised. Children and families are especially welcome. The Planetary Dance is free, but donations are appreciated to cover costs.
Potluck Celebration: Please bring healthy food (preferably organic and GMO-free) to share with others and utensils. The food should be ready to serve (fruit washed, cheese and bread sliced, etc.). Please put your name on dishware you want back.
Directions to Santos Meadow: Take Stinson Beach exit off Hwy 101. Follow signs to Hwy 1. Turn left at Tam Junction and follow Hwy 1 north. At road fork at park entrance, take lower (left) road toward Stinson Beach. Turn right on Muir Woods Rd., just past Pelican Inn. Look for colorful flags ½ mile on left. Please carpool.
