Founded in 1978 by Anna and her daughter Daria Halprin, the Tamalpa Institute offers training programs and workshops in the Halprin Life/Art Process, a movement-based expressive arts approach that integrates movement/dance, visual arts, performance techniques, and therapeutic practices. This approach supports personal, interpersonal, and social transformation, offering new models for health, psychology, art, and communication.

The institute is a nonprofit organization that provides one of the most renowned movement-based healing arts programs in the world. To learn more about its program and its faculty (which includes Anna as a special guest teacher), visit the Tamalpa Institute website.
