Dance to Connect
There are many different intentions that drive us to dance, from ritual to entertainment to expression. In this workshop, we will explore dance and movement as means to seek out connection - with ourselves, our environment, each other and others in our lives. Men coming together to dance is a special opportunity to show ourselves, to be with one another and to use the support of the group to explore ways of relating, sharing and connection; both in and out of the studio.
Natan Daskal is a dancer, teacher and artist. He is on faculty at the Tamalpa Institute. Natan received his MA in Education at Goddard College where he studied how body learning and arts-based curricula can contribute to holistic education. He is particularly interested in how movement improvisation can facilitate greater creativity, health and well-being in both individuals and communities.
This workshop offers a rare opportunity for men to come together and dance expressing their full power and creativity. Come join us. No dance experience necessary.
